Welcome to the Blue Dragon Restaurant where you can dine and dance under the palms and stars! We are conveniently located on the Big Island of Hawaii on the Kohala Coast, across from Kawaihae Harbor. Open since July of 2008, our values-based philosophy, beautifully renovated building (formerly the Blue Dolphin), smiling staff, healthy gourmet food and unique ambiance are making the Blue Dragon the place to be to FEED YOUR SOUL! We are proud to announce being voted North Hawaii’s Best Live Music and Best Night Life in 2009, and for 2010 also won Best Dining Atmoshpere, Best Family Entertainment, and Best Bartender!

Dining Experience
Our fresh, festive food features global, coastal flavors and offers the freshest of ingredients, from locally caught fish to produce from our own organic farm. We proudly offer vegetarian, vegan, and/or gluten free options as well as just enough meat and the freshest of seafood! Music and Dancing
We feature live music nightly (when we are open for dinner Thursdays through Sundays) and offer the best talent and a wide array of musical styles.
