The 2016 Maui Marathon and Maui Half Marathon was held September 18, 2016, starting at Queen Ka’ahumanu Center in Kahului and ending in Kaanapali. Click Here for detailed information!

The Maui Marathon is a Point-to-point, from Kahului to Kaanapali on the island of Maui. This 26.2-mile course is recognized as one of the ten most scenic marathons in the USA as well as the oldest consecutive running marathon in Hawaii. A major portion of the course runs within 50 feet of the Pacific Ocean.

Rich in Hawaiian culture, aloha spirit and breathtaking beauty, the Maui Marathon Race Weekend is an experience that you will not soon forget. Named “Best Run in Paradise,” by Runner’s World magazine, the Maui Marathon features a point-to-point course that starts in Kahului and hugs the spectacular Pacific coastline for over 17 miles.

Feast on magical views of the cobalt blue ocean water, its rolling surf and neighboring islands. The final miles will take you through historic Lahaina before finishing in the world-famous Ka’anapali Beach Resort near The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, race headquarters. The Maui Half Marathon’s out-and-back course conveniently starts and finishes in Ka’anapali and follows the same course as the final 6.5 miles of the marathon including Lahaina’s scenic Front Street.

Runners Paradise Inc. is a sports management and promotions agency, with an emphasis in running, as well as, youth speed development and fitness.

Managed Events

Runners Paradise Inc. provides professional management services for all types of running events. We will handle the organization, insurance, permitting, volunteers, setup, operation, break down, and cleanup of your corporate, private, or fundraising run. We maintain all the materials necessary to run events of all sizes, up into the many thousands of participants, and have a ready pool of staff who know how to organize and conduct professional running events.

Training

Starting in 2015, Runners Paradise Inc. will be offering track training for distance runners. Yes track training. In order to get faster in distance running, you just don’t go out and run distance forever and expect you will get faster. You have to hit the track or do some type of speed training to get this accomplished. Whether you want to get better in the marathon or a 5k, speed kills.

A qualified Runners Paradise Inc. staff member will host these group training days and will work on the following areas: proper running mechanics, breathing, speed endurance training, strength endurance training, and speed. You will get to know you and your body and how to get faster with a program that will made just for you. The great thing is that you will be in a group with others who share your desire to get faster. STOP RUNNING ALONE AND GUESSING ON HOW TO GET FASTER. We will help you and it will show on race day!!!!
