Sir Wilfred’s – Maui Hawaii

Lahaina’s Front Street is the most visited shopping area on Maui. Sir Wilfred’s moved to 707 Front Street in January of 2010, lock, stock and humidors! Only two blocks from Lahaina Harbor and the famous Banyan Tree, Sir Wilfred’s is enjoying the increased foot traffic that Front Street brings. Yes, the old cowboy moseyed on over to greet all who pass by. Customers can enjoy coffee by the cup or request a sample of the day’s brew, and buy coffee by the pound. The gift selection has increased in the new location, with the addition of many items made in Hawaii.

Some of the most popular items are Exotic lotion and soap fragrances, Lavender spritzer, Hawaiian Tea, Big Island Bee Honey, Volcano Spices, Gourmet Sea Salt and Hawaiian Chocolate made with grown on the Big Island cacao. Big Kahuna cigars are featured as the house special, hand-rolled in Honduras with Sir Wilfred’s specifications.

Molokai Fish & Dive – Kaunakakai, Molokai

Moloka’i Fish & Dive has been a landmark in the Island’s principal town and shopping district of Kaunakakai for nearly 30 years. It was started in the 1970s by Jim Brocker, who had been until that time been an Airline Transport Pilot in various parts of the world. After having enough of the “fast lane” and the problems that go with it, Jim decided to take up residence on the tiny Island of Moloka’i and open a business that not only served the local population, but visitors also.

At Molokai Fish and Dive we offer outstanding ocean activities including scuba, reef snorkel, ocean kayak, whale watch and sport fishing adventures.

We also offer land activities such as the Halawa Valley waterfall hike, Historic Kalaupapa Tour and other cultural activities.

In addition to being the Island’s complete sporting goods store, within its walls can be found the largest selection of authentic Molokai designed T-shirts and souvenirs on the entire island.

Created by our staff members, the artwork is earthy and involved with the Hawaiian culture of Moloka’i. These exclusive designs have always been highly prized by residents and visitors alike and have never been available anywhere other than the store in Kaunakakai.

As a result, they have always been one of the must things that folks bring home after a visit to the island.

Pukalani Superette – Maui Hawaii

YouTube responded with an error: The request cannot be completed because you have exceeded your quota.

Pukalani Superette is a friendly mix of just about everything a person needs from a snack to a smile. Maybe that’s why the little store on the corner of Haleakala Highway and Makawao Avenue bustles with energy. One of the last of Maui’s true mom-and- pop establishments, the Superette is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and still going strong.

The inventory reflects the lifestyles of the new Upcountry. One can find bundled firewood, chicken feed, wild Alaska salmon, diapers, lentils, mustard seed, greeting cards, fresh flowers, fishing equipment, cough drops, extra virgin first cold press olive oil, ice, beer, tofu scramble, baked goods, Carr’s Table Water Crackers and the list goes on, not to mention every staple a home might need from light bulbs to aspirin to hamburger.

Most of the fresh produce comes from local farmers and is packaged for individuals, couples and small families. It’s a place where you don’t have to buy more than you need. And unlike some of the big stores, the shelves are almost always well stocked.
