MauiFEST Hawaii – Music, Art, Culture & Film

MauiFEST Hawaii - A Celebration of Music, Art, Culture & Film
MauiFEST Hawai’i is a Celebration of Music, Arts, Culture and Film.

Created by Maui filmmaker Kenneth K. Martinez Burgmaier, MauiFEST Hawaii showcases local entertainment and helps to preserve, perpetuate and promote Hawaii’s lost culture.

Because MauiFEST Hawaii attracts both residents and tourists, it provides a venue for increased interaction between these groups in the small communities where events are held.

MauiFEST events provide local clubs and cultural organizations a venue to raise money by providing them a free tent/space to sell items of their choice, thus providing entrepreneurial opportunities for local residents.

Kenneth K. Martinez Burgmaier and his MauiFEST Ohana will provide the expertise needed to make these grass-roots efforts a truly community-based initiative and will bring tourists & visitors to our most isolated communities.

With 8 successful years of popular Film Festivals in Hana, Lanai, Molokai & Lahaina, MauiFEST Hawaii is gearing up for another year of Aloha in 2011!

Moloka‘i – An Island Hawaiian By Nature

There’s an island in Hawaii that the world has left behind. An island of culture, an island with no stop lights, an island of adventure, an island of relaxation, an island of true Aloha. Molokai, an island Hawaiian By Nature.

Life on Molokai moves at a decidedly different pace. Unhurried and largely undeveloped, this is Hawaii at its off-the-beaten-track best.

Molokai may lack the luxurious resorts and world-famous restaurants, but what it lacks in glitz and glamour, it makes up for with genuine grace and an undeniably friendly spirit.

For those in search of pristine snorkeling, unpopulated white sand beaches, and mountain bike riding, and a sense of Hawaii as it was decades ago – Molokai will not disappoint.
