Surfing Monkey Shave Ice started on the island of Maui, Hawaii at it’s first location in 2008, opening in Kihei Town. It soon became the most popular shave ice stand on the island, selling the softest ice and using locally sourced raw sugar cane syrup.

Nearly ten years later, owner Paul Davies has expanded Surfing Monkey Shave Ice to include 3 Locations on Maui, using all-natural flavors from the best fruit purees with no added color or artificial flavoring (including an exclusive coffee flavor made with 100% Kona coffee).

Surfing Monkey Shave Ice maintains it’s mission to make and serve the best shave ice on Maui and is proud to be a family-run business with an added emphasis on ALOHA to all of our customers!
